If you have paid the state fee incorrectly or in a larger amount than required, you have the right to request a refund of the paid state fee within two years from the end of the year in which the state fee was paid.

If the state fee has been paid to the Embassy, you must submit a written application to the Embassy to request a refund for an overpaid or incorrectly paid state fee, either:

If the state fee has been paid to the account of the Estonian Ministry of Finance, you must submit the refund request for the overpaid or incorrectly paid state fee to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs — see more information on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website.
