✅ Official Certification

🛂 The consul can officially certify a signature, copy, printout, or extract:

  • Signature certification: The signature must be provided or acknowledged in the presence of the consul.
  • Copy, extract, or printout certification: The original document must be presented to the consul.

The procedure is carried out according to the Administrative Procedure Act — meaning the consul certifies copies, extracts, or printouts of Estonian state or Estonian local government documents, and the signature on the document, if it is intended for submission to an Estonian administrative authority (state or local government institution).

This service is free of charge

✅ Notarial Certification

🛂The consul can also provide notarial certification for:

  • Signatures written in the presence of the Consular Officer
  • Extracts or printouts

⚠️ Powers of attorney cannot be notarized at the Estonian Embassy.
